Application of Oxydtron Watertight plaster system for masonry and concrete structures
(APPLICABLE TO BRICK, STONE, FORMWORK AND CONCRETE STRUCTURES)The watertight plaster system consists of:
PREPARATION
Preparation of the surface to be insulated
The surface to be insulated is to be located 50-70 cm above the measured or visible water damage. This uniform margin is also to be applied laterally (in the case of connecting walls).
The existing plaster is removed from the surface identified for insulation. KEEP IN MIND that a "brick clean" surface is required to start the insulation. At the junction of the walls and the screed, we chisel in a negative direction in order to close this connection point to subsequently fill it with a material of greater thickness.
The surface does not have to be dried prior to insulation. On the contrary, multiple rounds of high-pressure washing is required to establish a dust-free and sufficiently wet surface.
In the case of concrete repairs, cracks must chiseled in a V-shape to a minimum depth of 5 cm and cleaned with high-pressure water.
When preparing the insulation, make sure to observe the “wet-on-wet" principle.
Oxydtron "B" primer
A GREY, POWDERY MINERAL MIXTURE CONTAINING THE OXYDTRON AGENT.
Application
Mix 10-15 minutes before applying.
Mixing ratio: 4-fold water volume for one unit of Oxydtron "B".
Apply on high-pressure washed surface free of plaster.
Apply the mixed Oxydtron "B" component in 1-3 layers to the structure using a whitewash brush, round brush or mechanical spraying.

There is no setting time, the application of Oxydtron Watertight and Repair mortar may follow.

Oxydtron Watertight and Repair Mortar
DRY, PREMIXED, CEMENT-BASED, FINE-GRAINED WATERTIGHT PLASTER CONTAINING THE OXYDTRON AGENT. SUITABLE FOR BOTH INDOOR AND OUTDOOR USE.
Application
Mix the contents of a bag with 4-7 litres of water (the desired consistency can be adjusted by adding water) for 5 minutes twice.
The texture of the material must be suitable for applying on walls with a masonry pan.Apply the watertight mortar on the wall and thoroughly incorporate in all parts of the structure using a whitewash or wide brush.
For larger surfaces, the mortar can be applied by spraying. (Recommended sprayer: Graco RTX 1500).
Apply the Oxydtron Watertight and Repair Mortar in 2-3 layers.
Apply the Oxydtron Watertight and Repair Mortar in 2-3 layers.
No more than 3-4 hours should elapse between applying the first two layers.
Apply the third layer to the structure within no more than 24 hours, using a notched trowel.
The total thickness of the applied layers will be 0.8-1 cm.
The connection point of the insulated masonry and the associated screed is also to be sealed.
In the case of uneven masonry, the Oxydtron Watertight and Repair Mortar must be covered with a surface filler/smoothing plaster. The use of the Oxydtron Renova mortar is the most suitable for this purpose.
If the treated structure is to be subsequently covered with a surface filler plaster, it should be sprayed with Oxydtron Renova plaster after using the Oxydtron Watertight and Repair Mortar (based on the wet-on-wet principle).
When not applying an aesthetic plaster, the material can be smoothed by itself.
When repairing concrete, the chiseled cracks/concrete defects are filled in stages (maximum 1.5 cm/layer) and all layers are poured into the structure during the initial bonding phase as described above.

The Oxydtron Watertight and Repair Mortar is capable of providing integral waterproofing capable of withstanding 5 bar water pressure on the inner/negative side.
Oxydtron Renova
SILICON, MINERAL LIMESTONE CEMENT MORTAR FOR MANUAL APPLICATION. OXYDTRON RENOVA IS A LEVELLING MORTAR CONTAINING THE OXYDTRON AGENT.
When repairing damp masonry, the Oxydtron Watertight and Repair Mortar acts as a surface filler plaster to seal the layer. Additionally, it can be used as a pre-spray plaster based on the “wet-on-wet” principle.
It can be applied in a 0.5-5 cm layer both indoors and outdoors.
Application
Mix the Oxydtron Renova plaster with a concrete mixer or a low-power hand mixer.
Continuously add water to achieve proper consistency.
Stir the substance for 5-7 minutes. The material requires no double mixing.
Apply the Oxydtron Renova plaster on the surface in 1-1.5 cm thick layers with a notched or smooth trowel, while observing the required setting time between layers.
The material can be smoothed by itself.
